Help me name my new horses!

They are gorgeous! So... if hubby is likely to come up with guns names, let's beat him to it!! For finer boy - Akdal Ghost? For the hairy one - Beretta Bobcat?

OH has bucked his usual gun/war/battleship trend and helpfully suggested 'Plod' and 'Claude'. Er...:rolleyes:

Reeeally want Game of Thrones theme, but all the names are either associated with horrible characters or just don't sound right!

I don't think I want matching/pairs names as they will be sold eventually and then will sound sad and alone without their other half.

I quite like the western/Native American type names for the finer boy, as he has that kind of look about him, whereas the hairier one would suit a good British name I think.

EXACTLY - it would sound funny whilst they're both at my yard, but poor old Goose would have the short straw when they eventually part company!
 
I like Outlaw and Bandit for finer and Nelson and Winchester for hairy, but then I also liked the Nigel and Norman suggestion. If you want something british how about Winston or Churchill?
 
Well the horses are arriving early next week, and are still without names!

The name at the top of the list for the hairy one is Montagu/Montague (Monty) - don't know why, he has an amazing moustache and suits that sort of name! But not sure yet...

The finer one is proving more difficult - I went to see them again at the weekend and while the hairy one has quite a character, not shy at all and very friendly, the finer one is timid and shy and so hard to gauge his character. The list for him at the moment is...
Geronimo, Tomahawk, Atlas, Buffalo Bill, Cody, Bandit...

Any more ideas PLEASE add some! Although no paired names, not keen on those...
 
Some ideas: Monty, Bandit, Harlequin or Harley for short, Domino, Ace, Blackjack, Finn, Jet, Toby, Rocky, Noah, Scout.
