Help Me Pick My Cross Country Colours!

Hello, my horse and I are starting to do cross country and I have been thinking about cross country colours for a while.
I really want gold and royal blue as the stud I used to work at, this was their racing colours. My horse's colour is blue anyway so I want blue and something. I am worried about gold as I want gold and not orange.
Also what design can I get on my hat silk?
I am thinking about the champion gold hat skull.. ideas?!?

What colour is your horse?

I saw royal / electric blue and white on a very dark bay the other day and it looked quite striking. You could 'beef' up the white to silver? If you are worried about gold looking orange.

I'm going to badminton at the weekend so will have a look at what colour their colours come out in specimens at Gibsons and Treehouse!
Thanks for your suggestions, maybe silver will be better?

I think royal blue and white will look lovely on your gorgeous grey. Tho to be honest you could use absolutely any colours on a grey and look good. I think tho silver won't be as striking on a grey.
