help me please ( fencing)

I have just bought a solar powered electric fencer. It is 6volt and has a three mile range.

Is it enough power to circle a 3 acre pasture twice?

An acre is about 70 yards x 70 yards so roughly your perimeter would be 560 yards. Double it up & it would be 1120 yards. There are 1760 yards in a mile so you should have enough power to fence your land. All this is assuming you won't have grass/folliage etc growuing up into the tape/rope which will earth it & considerably lower its efficiency. I hope this is of help to you (I did it in yards rather than metres as you are from 'the colonys'

Thank you so much. I thought it would be ample but I am never sure about these things. Math is a hopeless area for me and I was having trouble finding conversion calculators
