yes shes going back today and i cnt wait she injured another person 2 days ago he was just walking down the field (in hat thanks god) and she lunged at him for no reason reared up vertical within inches of him then as she spun off she bucked and kicked his elbow im not exagerating either we have it all on cctv cams which iv got off to show owners exac what we have dealt with
Shame about that filly, nothing like when you saw her originally so it must suggest she was 'calmed' in some way because, nothing, not even unruly youngsters in strange places, which is after all, what she is, have their temperament so completely altered like that usually.
Hope you find something soon.
Wouldn't it be better to wait for your ribs to heal first? When I hurt my ribs (not broke them) after a fall I found it hard enough to lift my arm up over my head, and in the first week/fortnight, breathing or even just coming downstairs too fast/carelessly was painful. Grooming would be agony, climbing into a saddle would be torture, bumping around even at a walk would be excruciating, and if you fell off...
top 2 under my breast there agony as u say it will be a while before i can do much yet im not looking for anything as in today but just some hope theres something out there before my confidence goes completly! have pro transporters picking mare up as i cnt manage it
You're not going to get a 'free' horse that is also suitable for a nervous novice and is healthy. It's not a good idea to keep going from one horse to another for whatever reason. They aren't to be treated like 2nd hand cars!.Seems you had one for 6 weeks, got rid of that for the cheap youngster that lasted 2 weeks. Why don't you spend decent money on a schoolmaster instead of trying to get horses on the cheap/free.It's not what you can get out of the horse, it's about what you can give to it, especially when it's somebody elses' horse you want to get involved with.Shame this has to be pointed out.And how will you convince an owner to let you loan their horse when you tell them you have had 2 horses in what,4 months?! If you have lost your confidence and have been injured, (although you did post that you hadn't broken any ribs the other day),the sensible and responsible thing to do would be to go for handling/riding natural horsemanship theory lessons as no horse is going to be perfect, especially for the first year.
