Is there anything I can do???

She did not yelp or anything, but chomped on it, dropped it out suddenly and we can't find its stinger in its bottom

Any tips for what to look out for if it has stung her??? Or what we should be doing?

Speak to your vet asap.

def agree with above, cat did the same thing and her throat went so swollen very quickly x

U just need to keep a close on eye on his throat really, my cat was really stuggling to breathe and I had to rush her in.
keep us updated x

Thanks... I am at work but my husband is at home with her.

She did not yelp, just dropped it out of her mouth and tried eating it again!

She is breathing normally (that is what I have told him to keep an eye on until the vets call me back) and she has just eaten some bread he gave to her soaked in milk. She is bright as a button, wagging her tail and bouncing about the garden looking for more!

Will update when the vet has called me back... fingers crossed she is ok though! Poor husband was panicking and just didn't know what to look for. The only thing I could think of was breathing.

Did it happen quite soon after your cat ate the bee? Or a little while later. It has been 20 mins since she ate it.

I would say about 30 mins she started getting a bit laboured and I had her at the vets within the hour, they checked her over and gave her an injection and some tablets to take at home, she still tries to eat them though they will never learn!!!

Keep an eye on her, incase her throat/tongue starts to swell contact vet. You might be able to give her piriton is she starts to swell.

Thanks everyone...

The vet told me to closely monitor her which we have been doing. She is absolutely fine this evening and even tried eating another one

Because I am 'monitoring' her, she is currently sat by my bed snoring her head off. The husband will go mad!

My border terrier ate a bee once and his face was so swollen that my parents hid him from me! (he is my baby and i will have only been about 10 at the time)

He still tries to eat them..
