Help my friend with her dissertation-If you could invent one horsey thing

I'd like a New Zealand Rug that stopped the mud getting into the horses elbows and inbetween the front legs. Its a bugger to remove.

Also some clippers which collected all the hair so that I don't end up looking like a Yeti (not even mentioning the state of my Bra) when I've finished.
 
I'd like a thermometer that would let me know that my horse isn't too hot/cold under her rug. Something like a max min liquid crystal thermometer that could be put under the rug and you could check in the morning.
 
A spray that dissolved poo in fields so you didnt have to pick it up---- would obviously have to be non toxic!!

A spray that you spray onto tack that dissolved all the grease prior to cleaning

Socks that actually keep feet warm when hacking out in winter.... no matter how many pairs I wear i still get frozen toes!!

as in purpose cotton sheets - one with front fastings only, (i know they are washable :p I mean ones that attach onto rugs so less likely to slip (like velcro attachments?) but can be removed when needed :)

i second this, if the nylon liner bit was removable thatd be great AND it would be easy to dry!!
