Too ...Much...Grass!
Wish the HOT, DRY weather would hurry up... got too much lush green damp grass.
I'm not happy with filly... she has suddenly developed a 'bit of a neck'.. fingers crossed I'm worrying about nothing, but gone has the weedy pony and in comes the big strong 2year old! Thought her front feet were a bit warmer, not much but just a bit.
I've been strip grazing them for weeks now. The patch they are in suddenly seems to have gone crazy, what was eaten down has now grown... so today I've stripped them right back again! They were not happy, but it is the best I can do until I sort out stabling - and possibly adding a cow or two to their patch for a day or so..
Anyone else struggling with too much Dr Green?
