it was a complete accident both horse and dog where in the wrong place wrong time, not use to being out 24/7 so a bit 'fresh' when its dinner time! This happened 9pm last night not sure what happened all happened fast but dog ran to me a bit shaky but seemed just frightened, took to dog A&E last night when noticed he had bleeding from the back of his head, now got one staple in his head and they sent him home, vet reconed he had just hit his head on a flint and couldnt identify a kick injury so off i went a lot less money in my bank

so kept an eye on him last night, he feels really sorry for him self, refused point blank to walk to the yard, 1 min for frount door! took him to watch my old TB go XC and he really perked up, but now every time he gets up he is sick, has drunk water and eaten a bit of food but not alot! would u take him back to vets now or wait till apointment tomo, i think im possibly over reacting but he keeps looking at me with that sad puppy dog face

and then he is sick

Serious amounts of chocloate chip cookies for getting this far!

Sounds like he may be very concussed - and should most definately had a quiet day today - not go XC.

Sounds like either the emergency vet tonight - or certainly 1st thing in the morning to your own.

already called vet first thing this morning and before i posted (i think im anoying the nurse now!) he said only to bring him in if i was really worried or he started fitting!! dont no what id do if he started fitting, took him xc with me coz he jumped in the car as soon as i opened the door and i didnt want to leave him alone, he has been millions of times and dosnt get excited or silly its just a normal day in his life when u spend half ur life in a horse box or at a show. was going to leave him in car and check on him but he wanted to come out and became his usual waggy tailed self, we were only there 20mins. altho i have to say just took him for a wee in the garden and he is so much brighter out side its like he forgets all pain and carries on peeeing on any thing that might smell different as soon as he comes inside he acts all babyish and follows me around looking lost

Sounds like a concussion which should make him tired and out of sorts. He should be fine in a few days, but do call the vet again if he starts fitting, if he falls asleep and you can't wake him or if he completely refused water and food. I wouldn't worry about calling the vet for advice, that's what they are there for!
