my horse wont stop itching a balled patch were her girth goes and she made it bleed so i put suda cream on it. then she didnt stop itching so i cleaned it the next day and put tee tree cream on it. the next day it was worse, so i cleaned it again and put green oils on it ,and straight away she cepted on itching so made the bulled patch bleed even more. so again i cleaned it and put purple spray on it and she still itching. now it has little spots around it and they seem to be the thing what is itching but i dont no what to do she seems so sad beacuse its so itchie and shes just making it worse by itching but its not weeping HELP !
 
sorry but I am going to be blunt. The horse is in obvious discomfort and home treatments aren't working so you need to get the vet.It could be some kind of fungal infection,possibly even something contagious to humans so please don't ignore it and hope it goes away.
 
Its probably an allergic reaction to the bite of the little tiny brown poo flies. I know a horse who gets exactly the same thing. The only real remedy is to use one of those burka type rugs that cover the belly
