OH has very generously bought a pair of these >>> http://www.robinsonsequestrian.com/riding-apparel/footwear/long-riding-boots/calgary-long-boots.html

for Christmas and they turned up this afternoon, but they don't fit :(

My calves are too big for them :(

So any tips on how to get slimmer calves quickly?

At the moment I'm getting very wet feet because my other yard boots have died a death, which is why my OH bought me these before Christmas. I'm not riding much at the moment because we have facilities and I only see the horses in the dark, but I didn't think my legs had gotten that fat!

Help please!

I don't think there is a way .....I lost a lot of muscle from my right calf when it was in a cast and airboot for 6 weeks through muscle wastage - nit really a viable option though really!

I'd exchange them for wide fitting ones or start sleeping in them :D

I've got the wide ones, and I love them. I'd love nice slim calves but I think I'm stuck with solid chunky ones! I don't half envy people who have a gap at the top of their long boots, snot fair!

I'm going to have to return them and order wide fit ones aren't I? :(

I was so hoping for warm, dry feet when I do my boys tonight!

Hate to say it but you were never going to fit into those boots tonight! LOL. No matter what drastic measures you tried :D

PS: However, if you DO discover a miracle - PM me! I have the same trouble with larger than 'regular' calves (and also have very small feet to make matters so much worse.) :(

The mad thing is I have regular calves with every other pair of boots I've ever bought in my entire life!

Will be returning them tomorrow and buying the wide fit ones

I was hoping someone would have an answer😞 My hubby bought me some black ariat boots and gaiters for competing a couple of years ago, I tried them on last week and I couldn't do the zip up. I have put on a little bit of weight so will just have to lose it again, think I'll be joining the gym soon.
