Help Needed A.S.A.P - Fancy Dress

My college is organising a fun little show which is compulsory for all students. I am doing the lead-rein jumping with my 2 miniature Shetlands :D All sounds easy except we have to dress up :eek: lol

I will be leading a friend will help, so we are both stuck on what to dress the 2 minis up as and what we could wear as well. Would like a theme. We also need a team name. All entries must be in by tomorrow :)

Okay, first thought, Team called "Pigs Might Fly", put them both in little fleecy pink rugs, you and helper wearing white coats (stick on beards etc optional!) with helper holding a board and stick (the way pig handlers do), draw a chalk line up the front of their hooves so they look like trotters, wrap and twist their tails with a piece of soft bendy wire in so they look curly like pigs' tails.
you get the gist. could be a real laugh.
hope they won't get offended... ;) ;)

Postman pat and his back and white cat. Two minis as the red post van easily made out of sheets of red material and windows and writing stuck on. You then dress up as postman pat and your friend as the black and white cat!! Did this once in a pairs christmas jumping competition. Sorry years ago so don't have the outfits or rugs or you could have had them.
 
what colour are they? could they go as skeletons if you spray painted bones on them, in a halloween theme?call them the little horrors?

How about you as cruela devil and the two mini's as Dalmations, Althoguh they are not black you could customise some black bed sheets to put on them and stick white spots on.

Not sure of a team name yet... Maybe "Cruela and the little devils"

Thanks, I do have a black mini shetland but wasn't planning to take him. That a really good idea :D What could my friend be??? xx
 
I did a fancie dress with my ponio when I was a tott. We dressed him up as a bear, and my mum n dad went in bear type costumes leading me from eaither side... and I was goldy locks!

That doesnt help you AT ALL, but I thought I'd share :p

I'm loving the flying pigs & little horrors ideas :) I almost wish I had a fancie dress to go to now... :D

Ive just remembered my sister did a fancy dress when she was younger, winne the pooh theme. Pony- eyore, cotten showjumping ears (to match pony) tail in tights with bow on the end, she was winne, yellow outfit facepaited face ears sewn on silk, your pony could be piglet probaly easy to do and maybe other handler tigger or rabbit???:)
 
Mummy's little angel / devil in disguise. Angel wings on one pony & handler dressed as an angel (or a yummy mummy). red horns & tail on other pony & handler dressed as devil.

Me & my shadow (shadow is black pony & handler dressed all in black)
 
remember doing one as a child. put a sweat rug on pony and pegged loads of random clothes to it......she was a clothes horse!!! i dressed up as a granny and led her and carried my peg basket. we won, remember there was a twix included in the prize lol
