I am looking for a new horse and find myself trawling the websites to such an extent that all the horses start to merge into one! If anyone wants to help I would be extremely grateful. I have phoned up and emailed about a couple but am still awaiting replies. So here are the details:
I am a 33 year old teacher, weight 10.5 stone, height 5ft7. I have ridden for the last 29 years. I have owned dressage horses (competing BD Elem/Med) and hunters in the past and am looking for something similar again.
Requirements: 15hh+; between 6 and 14yo; must hack alone and in company; no rearing, bucking; must be well behaved at shows and good to load;
Uses: Hunting, Hacking, BD; RC
Budget: £5000 max.
Area: East Anglia - I am on the east Coast in Suffolk but if I can't find anything in east Anglia I may look at going further afield.

Please let me know if you spot anything or PM me if you have a wonderful horse that you are selling on. Thank-you.xxx

Thankyou. The coloured in the West Midlands looked fabulous, sadly a bit too far away. I'm not sure if I had missed one of the horses on horsequest so have left a message again just in case! I really need to start keeping a list.
LisW, can you put your mare on wedges to make her a bit taller for me!! I tried a 14.1hh a couple of weeks ago but it was just too small. Where have you got her advertised? xx

Henryhorn, do you have a link to your advert on horsequest? As long as it isn't the £19,000 ad!!
Trubie, I've had a quick look at your ad, I'm off out until 4pm but will messgae you back later.xx

oh poor you and poor me! I absolutely agree they do merge into one or two or twenty two!

I am having a break from the search as soooo disillusioned. BUT hope must prevail as I do know someone local to me who found a smasher! So I know it will happen. And I am prepared to wait a year to get the right one.

But good luck I have registered with a good dealer as well. Good good luck as I love it on H&H reading about folks who have found the one!

There was a funny thread on here about advert jargon & what it really means etc very useful!

A big thank-you to everyone who has contacted me so far. Hopefully I've replied to everyone and apologies if I've missed anyone. However, at present it appears that everything in East Anglia is already sold and all the available horses that sound great are scattered to the four corners of Britain!!
Please feel free to still contact me if you have something suitable.
I just phoned up about two lovely hunters which I can't see tomorrow because they are going cubbing on Tuesday, and can't try at the weekend because they are being hunted again!! xx
