The farm i am on i have never had a contract.

The farmer is very old and struggles with everyday life,i help him as much as i can,as do a few others.

There is one certain livery that totally takes the pi**.

They have 2 horses and only pay livery once every 6-8 months and not the full amount, they only pay the odd 20-30 quid.

Our livery is very low,but not that low, they take the pi** out of him, well the farmer blew his top one day and told them to go,well they said they will pay and gave him a bit of money.

Well he has had nothing since and he does not want any trouble from them.

He has asked me if i know of anyone that does have a contract so he can give them one,to get them gone if they dont pay.

Can anyone help me or PM me a contract they give there liveries so as i can copy it for him,he really wants these gone.

Thanks alot

Thank you all for the links.

The farmer basically wants a contract to mention that if the livery is not payed then he will gie them 28 days notice to leave.

As a YO who does DIY livery, my advice to farmer mentioned by OP would be to get rid of the undesirable livery(s) first as a matter of priority. Give them 28 days written notice, saying that at the end of this period they must be gone, with their horse and associated clutter, and any outstanding livery fees payable must be settled in full before this period of notice ends.

THEN decide what livery agreement he will be using in future and sit the other liveries down and get them to sign it. If they won't sign, send them up the road.

Then he can start afresh with some new liveries and see how things go. Its a difficult situation, but he obviously is struggling to manage and perhaps there's someone who would do YM duties (with perhaps a concessionary rate in livery) who could do the hiring and firing on his behalf. It would need to be someone trustworthy though.
