help needed please

Sorry im putting this in this section, i know it should be in the vetenary part but more people look in the area and i need some help, Ive had the vet today to amber and they think that she has got the start of sweetitch, shes just turned three which would suggest why it has only just started, her mum had sweetitch as well but i just need some advise on what to treat her with really because she has such a lovley main and tail and i dont really want to losoe it to her rubbing which she is doing quite alot of, i have been keeping her fly rug on all the time although she is still getting really big fly bites. I cant really afford to keep trying diffrent things becuase they arnt cheap so if anyone knows of something that works i would be really gratefull
 
i have a pony at my yard who used to suffer terribly - it would start in the whorl on his head and spread all through hi mane - i use hibiscrub and cradle cap shampoo - he has it washed a few times a week and hasn't had any problems since.
 
Save yourself alot of money and invest in a Boett rug. Put it on from March until November. If you need specific advice, please pm me.
