Help needed with ponies sore skin!

I have recently got a coloured mare who has pink skin on her teats, in between her back legs and on her bottom and lady bits :p

She gets very sore skin, which is red and kind of blistering at times. I wash it ever day and have been putting sudocrem on it which seems to help.

Does anyone know anything I could give her or put on her skin that may be able to sort the problem out rather than me treating it everyday, as she doesn't like me treating it really!

Someone mentioned that feeding her clivers would help, does anyone know of any results of using this please?

One of ours gets this on her nose, and no, its not sunburn. I think it might be an allergy, possibly to buttercups. We use E45 to start of the healing and soothe the irritation and then loads of sudocrem to protect it.
 
Is it due to her seasons or getting sweaty when working ? I have a dark bay mare who gets sore very easily, it looks red raw especially when in season or if she's worked hard.
I manage it much the same as you, although she doesn't need washing everyday. I use saline instead of shampoo, or baby shampoo followed by saline. Sudocrem to finish.
May try raw whipped egg white instead as its a great healer for sores and rashes. Let it dry on overnight and wash off next morning. When I began nursing back in the dark ages, we used beaten egg white on pressure sores and rashes with very good effect.

i don't think it could be a reaction to buttercups as she never comes into contact with them!
it is most likely caused by her getting hot i guess. i always make sure i wash her down properly after exercise so she doesn't get sore. i have only had her a week and she probably didn't have her skin treated before i had her so hopefully it will improve so it won't hurt her so much when i treat it.

Try aloe vera gel, I swear by the stuff!! Oh, and don't wash it as that can make it sore in itself.
 
Try to avoid washing her in her girly bit area except with plain warm water. Definately don't use any shampoo.

E45 is great stuff for protecting the skin - I use it in winter when my hands get sore
