yesterday i clipped my little boy all over. "why?" i hear you say. Well he is an american miniature horse and thats how they are shown, clipped, and i have my first show next weekend. Having eventually got through about 6 inches of foal fur ( And im not kidding! ) to find a nice dapple grey underneath but also found inches of grease also!! Its horrible. I bathed him after clipping him thinking it would get rid of it but i have been today and its all still there. Brushing doesnt seem to get rid of it. I was hoping to do the best condition class but if i cant get rid of this grease i cant possibly do it. I know the grease was there for a reason but he is now rugged up well. Someone has suggested bathing in vinegar to get rid of the grease but i dont know how much to use? Has anyone any suggestions or remedies on how to get rid of this grease!!! Also any suggestions on potions to get rid of tram lines from the clippers would be appreciated. Please help
