Wondered whether anyone knew of anyone in E.Sussex to help with my horses, I have a med level horse and 2 youngsters. Would love to find an experienced rider who wants to enjoy/compete my herd with me.

Any ideas welcome!

Are you looking for a sharer (them too pay towards keep) or pay someone too come help school and compete??

Would love to find a sharer, horses at home so no big costs, if you hear of anyone looking please let me know. It's difficult when you move so don't have any horsey contacts as yet.

Thanks H

Welcome to East Sussex, it's a great area to be in and there are a lot of us from there on here!!

Have you tried contacting your local riding clubs or any dressage trainers within the local area to see if they have any pupils/clients that may be interested? Have you tried the local BYRDS organiser or tried an advert on the boards at local venues that provide BD/non affiliated DR competitions?

Local trainers include Markus Bauer, Alison Short and Mary-Anne Horne plus some in West Sussex to include Amy Stovold (apologies if any names are spelt incorrectly) - try a search on here for comments and recommendations. You could also try any listed BD judges in the area to see if they know of any potential riders - BD may provide a list. Have you tried the BD website?

Hope this helps.

:)

Thanks for your help, I have contacted BD rep for area, riding clubs etc but nothing as yet. I have advertised in H & H and online sites, only people coming forward want to ride/compete but don't want to either help out with any costs or any stable duties, I am based in Burwash, East Sussex, so if you hear of anyone looking for new ride pls let me know.
