I am looking to rent a field (anything from 2 acres upwards) with or without shelter/water/electricity in the Wellingborough village area. Would be fantastic to find one Wilby/Mears Ashby/sywell/Earls Barton/little harrowden direction. Anything
considered. Can provide fencing if
needed. Would consider grass livery if grazing suitable, does not have to
have school.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I wish you all the best in looking for grazing in this area!! I've been looking for years!
I would keep an eye on the boards at Tower Farm and Blue Barns, Jane Butt sometimes has bits on the wall and there was a guy in Sywell who had a little yard to rent but wanted too much money (DIY livery prices!!).

If i hear of anything I'll let you know :)

I live in Rushden but I found grazing to keep my lot at Chapel Brampton now working in Moulton Park so not too much of a problem.

There are lots of livery yards round here but not many if you have a strict budget and a couple of horses!

It's so frustrating no one seems to have anything in this area field wise, was thinking I might never find anything and now reading you struggled for ages to find anything it looks a bit hopeless :(

Problem is with small paddocks worth £50k about who is going to rent at such a small return on capital.

Ask round villages you are interested in especaillay churchs/ village trusts. Churches/villages in the past were often left bits of land for sheep grazing to provide income for the poor. I rent one of these for £75 for 6 months. They are often small pieces tucked away which when given had little value.
