Greetings all,
Please forgive this rather unorthodox post, but as members of this community I am hoping you may be able to help where the usual services cannot...
I work for a utilities company and we're currently carrying out a number of safety inspections on our assets. There's one particular site of very high importance that we need access to and there is a horse paddock/stable on this land.
The assets have a high impact on the sewers, the local canal and the Metropolitan Line railway tracks, all of which run through this land, so it's very important we get in there to check the asset safety!
The paddock in question is in the Croxley Green/Watford area just North of the roundabout, at the junction of Baldwins Lane and the A412 Rickmansworth Road.
Several times we have tried locating the owners through the usual channels, such as Land Registry and Three Rivers District Council, but nowhere has any record of ownership. We've also attended the site numerous times, but have only found horses - Not a single human (or even vehicles) have ever been seen on site and the local residents have no idea. We've even walked the entire boundary but have found no signage beyond the simple 'Private Land' notices.
Is anyone here familiar with this location, or perhaps able to tell us who we might contact for access?
