Help, Passport Question.

I bought my horse back in Novmeber, and until the other day when i was sorting out my own passport, i genuinly forgot all about his. Anyway i rooted it out and looked at the 'Change of Ownership' details on the website and it kept saying that this had to be done within 30 days of when you purchased the horse, but it doesnt say whats happens if you dont, and im really worried about it, anyone got any experience with this? The passport is with the Horse Passport Agency.
 
i did the same however i left it longer and i got it back with the date i had sent it in which ment i just wrote on it the actual date i bought her! i was worried before i sent it off but dont worry! xx
