I am in need of a new pair of boots, but i cant decide between the ariat glaciers and ariat grasmeres ?

any help would be appreciated :) ! x
 
I've had both and slightly prefer the glaciers, just because I find the leather easier to clean than the suede. Not much in it though.
 
glaciers have more insulation.

I would prefer the leather ones but find the grasmeres plenty warm enough and get more wear out of them than I would glaciers - they'd be too hot a lot of the time!
 
Do you want them for riding and yard work - or 'Badminton' style days out and walking XC etc.

I have grasmeres and find them plenty warm enough in the winter, and comfy enough for a full week of Badminton XC walking in May ;)

Edited to say - No leather boot will withstand regular mucking out, that's a job for Wellies (ammonia will wreck your boots blooming quickly!)
 
I have just bought the grassmeres purely because I prefer the look of them. Lovely boots but haven't really had them long enough to know how they will wear.
 
I have the Glaciers and LOVE them, I have really cold extremities and these are a god send! I muck out, trudge through deep mud, ride and generally hammer them and while they look tired they are still going strong 7 years later! Very impressed with them
