I have fallen in love with
this

Being at Uni with no money I am in absolutely no position to buy a horse. But he is everything I've always wanted!! Somebody please find some faults in him before I start making phonecalls!! lol.

ooops! his horsemart ref is HM705BG06

He is very big for a Welsh D, with that neck I think if he took a hold you'd have no chance even with the most powerful six pack to support you being pulled forward

They removed the height limit on Section D's a few years ago and now there are several around the 16.1/2 mark.

dont like the look of him in the first pic but he looks gorgeous in the 2nd

my fault is that... with that pale tail and lovely white feather he'll be a pain in the bum to keep clean lol

other than what others have said (I cannot get over his neck, I thought he was a stallion with an extra big neck and literally gasped when I realised he was a gelding), and that he is big (could you imagine doing mixed M&M on him? He'd dwarf the competition!) I think he's lovely and you should bribe your parents / anyone into buying him!

It's so tempting!! Already thought about putting him on working livery and riding/competing him in the hols...but I can't!!
But yeah...he is a massive welsh, and i most defiantly wouldn't want him to bomb off with me...but I love welshies and love big horses...so he's perfect in my eyes!!

I have to say if he is everything the seller says he is then he is pretty good and may even be worth the largish sum they are asking..if I was looking at that sort of budget I would be tempted to look at him

No I agree to me Sec D's should be under 14.2 but I think you and I are in the minority. I used to have a 14.1 Sec D and he was fantastic, not too sure I could have coped with him if he'd been 16.1 though.

Okay, it's not much but I'm trying to help you out . . .;)

If he has a "lovely snaffle mouth" why is he being ridden in a kimberwick in the picture? And looking mighty strong in it, too. Coupled with the super sized neck I've got to wonder if he pulls like a train, at least when it suits him.

You can get more for less. And I think that this has been advertised for quite some time - I'm sure someone posted this particular advert before Christams.

Surely a 14.2 or under sec D is practically a sec C?!

No, I reckon that sec Ds should be about 15.1hh.

Hmmm....interesting that he's been on there for a while, I'd have thought he'd be snapped up really fast! And thank you Cruiser! Didn't notice the kimberwick, and yes, I agree...he does look as though he's be pretty strong! Phew...not quite as determined to buy him now!! Edited to say... I still want him!! lol.

Sorry cant fault him!!!
Lovely welsh D. Yes some do come this big and he is big and beautiful.

Is that a pelham with double reins he is being ridden in, doesnt mean he is strong. Worth a look!!
