Help please-getting donations to the right people to help poor horses

Does anyone know how best to get charitable donations to help the poor horses rescued from Amersham?
My immediate thought is to contact Redwngs - can anyone else suggest anyone to contact? Am loath to send it to RSPCA since there is no guarantee it would assist horses specifically.

Yes definitely contact Redwings via their website. They are a very genuine charitable organisation and always at the forefront of large scale rescues. I have supported them in the past, especially after they helped me with advice when I had an injured horse on rehabilitation.

I have just donated to Redwings and The Horse Trust, via their online systems. All went through ok.
I just hope that money goes to help these poor horses.

The Horse Trust has the horses that are in a poor state that actually need nursing back to health. The other charities have the healthier horses that they saved in the nick of time. See Daily Mail for details.
