Help Please- Hay making Axminster/Lyme Regis/Colyford area

Help would be appreciated, I am trying to find someone to make my hay for me, will pay in either cash or bales whichever is preferred. Small bales preferred by me but I will take what I can get, so long as it is good hay for horses and goats. It will be 6-8 acres and there is already a good crop on 6 acres.The field is sloping but not really steep. Any offers or contacts appreciated as I have had no luck yet and will start to panic soon! Thank you

Yellow Pages and look for your local machinery ring. Or ask at your local pub or livestock auctioneers. Always better to share the crop otherwise you may pay for someone to turn up at the wrong time and not care much what the quality of the final product is like.

Contact the local farmers as they usually do a bit of outside contracting or google agricultural contractors.

There's a Mole Valley agricultural outlet in Axminster, near the train station. Worth having a look in there as they've got a huge noticeboard and you might well find someone there who'd do it? Or you could put up a notice yourself. Or ask someone there, they're very helpful.
