Help please how much is my pony worth?

Forgive my cynicism but why did you write about her in the present tense in your first post?

"No health issues whatsoever fit and healthy (no arthritis ect)
24 years old but rides beautifully and looks 10 as she’s in amazing condition.
Just took herself over some jumps at 90cm left out in the arena when free schooling only a week ago."
The OP appears to have had 2 older ponies as she was querying her 17yr old with possible arthritis in late August.

I too found it odd that this one was mentioned in the present tense, then later (post 14) admitting pony was pts 2 weeks ago, a week before she was jumping when free schooling.....
Timescale is a little baffling

I assumed with the legal advice comment, someone did something (deliberately or accidentally) that caused her pony to need to be PTS. So she is wanting to know the value of her pony as it was before that happened, to sue them/claim from them for it's value? So timeline wise the pony was jumping 1 week before it had to be PTS.

Yes I assumed the same. It sounds very sad and bizarrely specific to be a wind up. If the OP doesn't come back that doesn't necessarily imply anything suspicious either, perhaps she's got an answer elsewhere.

Maybe it was too painful a situation to refer to a recently lost soul in the past tense, and rather than going into all the details on a public forum, in order to get the information needed the OP just gave the details they needed to get the answer they needed with the least personal cost to themselves?

I have lost horses whose names I still cannot say out loud or write down even 10+ years later. We all cope differently. The OP didn't seem that old so was probably even less inclined to share painful details with a mob of strangers on the internet.

I wasn’t wanting to reveal too much about the situation as like an earlier comment said I am being careful about what I’m posting. Hence why I wrote my message in that way but obviously it did look a bit odd asking for peoples thoughts of what a 24 year old mare that I wouldn’t be selling is worth
