Help please.. I need new boots

I need new boots for hacking, fun rides etc.
I take approximately a size 6 boot. Most jodhpur boots are too narrow in the foot and too big at the ankle. Most long boots are also too narrow in the foot and too big in the ankle but also too long in the leg.
I have a pair of Regent Pro Rustler long boots which are 6 medium calf. They are too narrow in the foot and too long in the leg. After they had dropped I still need 1/2" or more risers.
My Hy waxed zip jodhpur boots have made me sore on the edge of my foot below the bunion bone because they are not wide enough.
I have been to my local shops and they have nothing suitable ( some Ariat, some Shires, some Toggi )
I am not keen on country style riding boots though.
Can anyone suggest some boots ? Thanks.
 
I posted about this the other day. Mountain Horse. I have wide calves but narrow ankles and all other wide calf boots are terrible round the ankle. I also have quite wide feet and they're fine in the foot.

Apparently, according to the man from Equitector who measured me for made to measure boots (I couldn't afford them when I got the quote) people have either U shaped calves and ankles or V shaped ones. Most British makes accommodate U shaped as the majority of British people have U shaped legs. Swedes, it seems have V shaped ones!

Swedish people are also tall, unfortunately. They definitely do a short/wide fitting but not sure if they do a regular width short. I found the short/wide were too short (I'm 5'6" but my legs are quite short) so I put a heel lift insole in the normal height wide calf ones and they're great.
 
Have you tried some of the "trainer" style short boots? I bought some musto ones ages ago (they have discontinued them now) but they were comfortable from day 1. I bought about 4 pairs to use as everyday riding boots in summer. They are a similar idea to the ariat telluride style but mine are really slimline and not as bulky. Mine look like Ariat short boots but made out of canvas rather than leather.
 
mountain horse for me too. they always seem to fit well as I have wide feet.....I can even buy them on the internet and be confident that they will fit...only slight drawback is they are quite chunky but as im not exactly a fashion plate it doesn't matter for me...
 
Do you specifically want long boots rather than jodhpur boots and gaiters?

I recently got some ariat jod boots, I have wide feet and high instep with narrow ankles and the lace up jod boots are great for me and provide so much more support than the elastic ones. I then have gaiter which are comfy.

I would also recommend the lace up Ariat jodhpur boots.

My daughter has wide calves, narrow ankles, wide feet and a high instep. We have real trouble finding long boots to fit and have just resorted to buying a pair of the Ariat lace up jodhpur boots and she is finding them very comfortable and supportive.
 
Something to bear in mind is the ariat range of chaps and gaiters are not all the same size even when the label says they are. You need to go to a shop with a massive selection and try every type on. Only the classic III chaps fit me, nothing else does.
 
Thanks again to you all for your replies. I'll investigate all I can. Unfortunately I live in an isolated area so can't get to try some of these makes. For my height ( 5' 2" ) I have long feet (size 6) and I haven't so far found any boot wide enough across the toes and narrow enough at the ankle. For long boots the problem is I have short legs with average / narrow calves and most long boots made with short leg length seem to be made for wider calves. I have looked at junior sizes but seem to be just a tad to big for them. Perhaps a day out somewhere with a huge range would be a good idea. Any suggestions for places in South Shropshire. Thanks again.
 
Another vote for Ariat! I am also awkward when it comes to long boots and until recently I have worn Ariat short boots and chaps. However, my boots gave up the ghost and I couldn't find any reduced (my motto-never buy anything full price...). In the end I resorted to Ariat Volant long boots with a side zip. A bit "showjumper bling" for my liking as I prefer my riding wear to be a bit more traditional, but the x-tall, x-slim size fit me perfectly especially as I also have narrow ankles and need a half size.... As with all Ariat boots they took a couple of months to break in (luckily I have a high pain threshold!) but now they are super comfortable and I can't fault the quality of the leather or the fit. They may not work for you but they come in such a huge range of foot sizes, leg lengths and calf sizes they might be worth a look.

P.S. They did have them on special offer on Equestrian Clearance.....
 
Thanks for all your suggestions, they were a great help. I found a shop that had a large selection and bought pair of Shires Brampton paddock boots size 39. They have laces and a zip so there is plenty of room to slide my foot in. They are not hugely wide in the foot but thankfully fit firmly at the ankle and are just right in the foot length.
