As a horse owner looking for someone to help with your horses (that you don't have to pay for) what would you want to know? Here's the first draft...

Experience Fully Insured Rider looking for horses to exercise. Can help around yard in return for rides.

Have produced for show ring at county show level and experienced breaking youngstock and schooling. Have also experience as racehorse and polo groom.

Can work evenings and weekends covering most of Swindon, Purton, Cricklade and Wootton Bassett etc areas.

Its soooooooooooooooooo hard when you have to sell yourself.

So what else do I need? This is to put up in local tack shops and livery yards.

Maybe I should add TRUSTWORTHY and RELIABLE to the add!!!

I have several instructors who would give me a reference, a horsy work colleague, a vet and and someone that I have recently been riding for who had to sadly sell the horse that I was riding! Not fair as he was my faviourite! Does that fulfill your criteria for referees?

What about competition results.... that's a good hard measure and demonstrates competence. Especially since most people want their horses re-schooling for competitions. Put in what you've won.
Actually just re read your post and you aren't charging... in that case doesn't matter really what you write.

Haven't competed for a while so no one would be interested in the results!!!! In fact only had the opportunity to compete once in the last two years and came 4th in a dressage test. It was the horses first time ever at a show!!!

I'm really not interested in getting paid, however, if someone wishes to donate towards my fuel costs that would be fantastic.

I just want to have the opportunity to be in the saddle and around the horses as much as I can.

Diesel Dog - 6 hacks may not be the answer! It may take longer depends on the horse! Still, at least I'd be prepared to put the work in and all for nothing!!!!

Off home now, taking dog to the vet for a Biopsy.
