Help Please - Measuring Dog For Rug!

Hi all,

We need to get my old beagle a coat for winter this year, he had an operation earlier this year to remove a few lumps & the hair has not grown back. Im hoping the winter weather will encourage growth but just in case it doesn't i promised him a rug.

I've found some to order but wondered about measurements do you measure the same as a horse rug? Can anyone advise please.

Im sure you measure along the spine from the neck to base of tale. This was definately how we measured our Lurchers dog coat.

You need to measure from base of the neck to the tail.
