So its just an adjustable leather curb instead of a metal curb chain? It should be adjusted so that when you take a pull on the pelham, it should start to come into play when the cheeks are at about 45 degrees (no silly degree symbol!) Does that make sense??
ok, undo the buckle,
slide the piece of leather with the holes in , out of the silver ring.
Put the same bit of lrather through the ring on your bit and then through the small silver ring
and again through the bit ring and small silver ring.
do up buckle
you buckle the buckle end of the lip strap on one side of the bit, then you thread the tail of the other side through the loop and then do up the tail onto the buckle
