I seem if forgotten how to ride :o

My jumping position has gone, just gone. I seem to be letting my lower leg swing back, bringing my heel up (I often turn my toes out, or recently let my lower leg pivot from my knee). Also I seem tp 'go' left. In old pictures I used to be straight, but recently I am collapsing left. I don't know why this is other than my left shoulder being very sore lately, and I am stronger in my left side, and my horse is very left sided.
I think my position is getting worse and starting to comprimise my horse. Also I am *hopefully* point to pointing this season, and if I don't improve my lower leg I probably will die! :o :D I am currently eventing at intro level, though my horse is very *looky* due to being very green, and has the tendency to launch over some spooky fences, although he is getting a lot better.
I think if my position was better I could 'help' him a bit more, also any tips on how to lighten his forehand before a fence?
Thanks, any cc welcome, as long as nobody is too nasty!

I can recommend physio.
If you get your own body 'evened-up', you will be able to sit straighter and the horse will then e straighter. I've been having some recently for a trapped nerve in my neck and it's amazing what the physio, who is a rider herself, has found is wrong with me! We are currently working on my ankles!

ankles?! I am going on Tues, though I have been looked at before after my left shoulder siezed and I struggled to move my arm! I think she was quite shocked I let it get that bad :D
I seem to be 'throwing' my self at fences. I am going to Turnberry next week, but I am going to have a couple of practices 'waiting' for the fence. My instructors on holiday so I can't get lessons this week.
I have tried tying my lower leg to the girth (on my mum's safe cob, not my TB!), though I am fine on the flat, and have worked very hard on getting a more classical correct position (though I would love lessons with a classical dressage trainer if any of you know of one in the north?) though when jumping my leg deffo wanted to swing back, but my mum's cob only has a dressage saddle so jumping on her is a bit tricky and she started to get very excited about jumping which didn't help! lol

Well I thought I was quite knowledgeable about how the body works but I have been amazed at the way moving my legs/feet can give me pins & needles in my left hand! I think the ankles problem stems from a broken ankle (which I had NHS physio for) about 3 years ago.
