Help please? Probs following season

Hi, Wonder if any one any experience?

Our border T is towards the end of her season, still slightly swollen, but is slightly smelly, sorry hope you've eaten!!

Should i be worried about infection or leave her to keep clean?????

I'd pop her to the vet just to be on the safe side, an infection in that area can turn nasty very quickly.

I'm sure she'll be fine and hopefully just being a pongy girl rather than anything more sinister, but it will be worth it to put your mind at rest

she might have a pymetria (spelling) best go to the vets for a full check up. if not going to breed i would recommend a spey. and looking at the rescue sites, do not breed unless you have at least 8 fabby homes lined up.

Good news! But agree with OCYC, had a bitch survive a pyometra, luckily, but it was awful and she nearly died, if she's not breeding stock I'd get her spayed.

Def plan to have both girls spayed, and little scare yesterday re-inforced that, just been nervous about surgery in the past
