Help please!

hey
im looking for some help with building my welsh D's neck we have decided to take up showing and a friend mentioned he could do county if he filled out ect
when they said this i thought straight away '' get fat'' haha
but i was hoping people would have some tips to build him up
iv already began to add hill work as we have acess to a decent size one
other people have suggested strapping and side reins <-- however maths not a huge fan of these =/
so any help is much appreciated =]

You could try a pessoa on him, but if he don't like side reins he prob wont like this but it an idea. x

Your best bet would be to get him working correctly in self carriage - but TBH if he doesn't naturally have a good front you won't find it easy

Feed him from the bottom of a big black dustbin! They take a mouthful and lift their head out of the bin and put their head up and down many more times from the feed. Adding extra chaff and reducing hay will further help help with this exercise. I've known many showing people to use this and have acheived fabulous results with no effort at all!!
