First let me say, i am NOT advertising!!!! just want to know if this type of thing works!!

back ground on why i want to know if it works
we have a German Shepard dog who does bark when the post man is about or a cat appears in are garden (neighbours have complained and harassing myself and my mother (police are involved)

so just wanted to know if this might keep her quiet rather then going to count!!

Ps we tried the anti bark collars , didn't work she likes the spray and trys to catch it in her mouth (silly girl!!)
we are only out of the house 4 hours a day (Monday-Thursday) so not for to long, but we cant find any one to sit with the dogs as every one works!!

Please don't shoot me down i am just trying to find a way to keep are girl quiet wile we are out, with out harming her, i dont agree with eletric shock collars, the dog her self is not in the house on her own she has are other bark a spangle (he aint really a barker) they have a dog flap so they can go in and out of the garden as they wish and lots of toys, these dogs are better looked after they i look after my self

If you only leave them for four hours why not lock the dog flap and leave a radio on?

sadly we tired this for a week and she just got her self very upset, howling and scratching at the flap to the point were we think she caught her pad as there were little splats of blood on the floor
