Help, problems with my canter

Hello,
I hope some of you have some useful advise for me. I have problems with my transition from trot to canter. It just seems so hard and I'm not successful in the request consistently.

Any suggestions which may help???

I find that riding without stirrups really helps my canter transitions - practise makes perfect

I find that a pole on the ground helps, keep it in one place then once transition is better over the pole, start to move it in a bit so you can ask next to the pole but not over it. You should find that you can get the transition in that area without the pole and that should help you ask more consistantly.
