Help - puppy vaccination

Hi All,

Im new to this forum Our puppy Archie has arrived a few days ago and is already part of our family. He is settling in surprisingly well and we cant wait to take him out! However, I have a problem regarding his vaccination. The breeder used Duramune for his first vaccination at 6 weeks but none of the vets locally use that brand. I live in SW London and cant find anyone that uses it. Does anyone know of any vets that use Duramune? Also concerned why none of the vets locally use it and whether it is any good?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We use Duramune and it is an excellent vaccine. Speak to your vet as a lot of vaccines can be "mixed". They can always speak to the manufacturers/phamaceutical company who will be able to tell them if the vaccine they use is compatable with Duramune, some are, some aren't. Good luck with your puppy.
