One of our Bateson trailer wheels wont move, it just drags when we try to move off. We have a guy trying to fix it now but he's only managed to make it spin backwards, not forwards! Any ideas at all please???

if it's the brakes - have you tried tapping the brake shoes with a hammer?
tap the wheel nuts with a hammer?
yank the handbrake on and off a few times?
grease the damper and ensure that's working properly?
Could it be the bearing? if it's that, then you'll need a new bit.

Sounds like the brake is jammed on.
Give the middle of the wheel a bloody good bash with a mallet!
If its going backwards, drive it backwards, then forwards, then backwards and so on, it might release the brake.
Also the hand brake thing, on off on off.

as above and sometimes helps to put people in the trailer and jump on the wheel whilst trying to move it as it increases the load on that wheel, tho having done it myself they will have to hold on!

had this with mine too, we took the wheel off and spun the inside bit around, it was fine then. Sorry for being non technical, we did panic, but fine after. We dont generally use the brake in parking now.

The same happened to our pegasus huntsman once. We dont put the brake on when it is parked up at home now as they tend to get stuck when they are left on for a long time. Just park it on the level and put bricks in front and behind one of the wheels.
