Help please my ankle has swollen and my yard boot is no stuck on my foot.
Surely it can’t just happen to me .
- Tried boot pull
- Shoe horn
- talc powder
- family pulling it
- been sat with it raised to reduce swelling for 2 hours still won’t move.
-We tried to cut it but leathers to thick
Thanks in advice x

Is it stuck halfway off or is your foot actually in the boot?

If in the boot get a very thin plastic bag and cut the end off so that it's a tube. Pull over your boot and poke it down around your foot as far as possible, especially around the heel, with the shoe horn.... This may give you enough 'slip' to use the boot jack.

Whoop whoop it’s finally off had to go for the cut it off option in the end with some different scissors. I tried a plastic bag but couldn’t get it past my ankle . Thanks all better go buy some more boots 🙈 xx
Have a look at Tuffa. I love their long country boot. Expensive but hugely adjustable so if you have this issue again hopefully you can remove them easily and save some money!

Glad to hear the boot is off!

I did have a small chuckle imagining all the different ways you've tried to remove the boot!

You need a pair of tuff cuts! Working for the ambulance service means I usually have a decent supply, cut through most things they will.
