Help - saddle bag fitting question

I have just bought some Shires saddle bags - like these Saddle bags .

Trouble is, I haven't got a clue how to 'fit' them! Has anyone any ideas or pictures to help?

i may get some of these.think they sit behind the saddle and the straps attach to the girth straps.(like numnah ones only backwards)

This might help you a bit.

These are rear saddle bags - the centre part can go over the top of the rear horns of the saddle tree if they're long enough, or use the clips to attach to the saddle rings as on the picture. The ones in your link are advertised for either in front, or behind the saddle, but they do look rather large to go in front.

I bought one of the same saddle bags as you did, and have exactly the same problem, there is no way of attaching it to anything. I gave up and wear a bum bag with bootles of water, and the odd mars bar of course LOL
