Me and my horse have been having weekly lessons with a classical riding instructor who is brilliant! We are coming along nicely but my girl is quite green and I am quite novice when it comes to schooling so we have lots of hard work ahead of us.
My YO's daughter is a fabulous rider who competes her own horses to a very high level and has recently given up work to concentrate on horses. She is offering to school a select few horses on the yard and having spoken to her she is willing to take my girl on for a schooling session once a week.
My dilemma is - will someone else schooling her, confuse her or will it do her good to be ridden by someone more experienced? It also means she will be able to get more exercise during winter which is a plus.
I am just a bit concerned that my instructor is teaching us one way and the other rider may teach her a totally different way.....
Opinions please
