you know when you try to send an email from a contact link on a website and it opens up a window in HTML, how do you actually send it please? do you just click on the disk icon at the top when you're finished? i've never had a reply from one ever, so maybe i'm doing it wrong every time.
any advice (other than "step away from the computer" gratefully received... thankyou.
trying to send an email to rts-sportline about their breeches, fwiw!

What is your default email client - is it something like Outlook Express/Outlook or do you use Web based email? If the Web site is using a MailTo link then this should launch your default email client. However, if you are using Web based email then it might not be configured to do this properly - I think you have to have some sort of add-in to make this work on a lot of Web-based mail clients. Could be wrong though but if it doesn't seem to be working then this could be your problem.
Maybe just copy the email address & go into your email client manually & send it from there?

ah, okay. i've tried copying email address and sending it from my email client, never had a reply that way either... thanks though! that makes it a bit clearer!
i don't use Outlook express, maybe i should set it up. thanks.
