Help! She won't open her eye....

I knew i shouldn't of left her fly mask on last night! My girl won't open one of her eyes - she tries but then shuts it quickly and it weeping when she opens it. What do i do? Help!!

You call the vet and ask him to come out ASAP.

Oh poor thing - yes, as others have said get the vet!! I'm sure you're already on the phone.

Also I would bring in and close the top door to stop too much light getting in just in case the eye is damaged

Ditto vet definately but just so you dont panic too much mine does this alot if I forget the mask, he rubs his eye until its raw and has exactly the same symptoms. I bathe it with cold water, he objects at first but soon realises its helping him and then enjoys it. I sometimes do the same with hayfever, I know I shouldnt rub my eyes but cant help it. Fingers crossed vet will give the all clear x

Yeah another vote for the vet asap.

You cant take any chances with eyes. I have previously had a horse with severe eye problems and know how bad they can get.
