Help! Showing a welsh sec b?

hi everyone, i have got my first ever in hand show on the 16th of May and luckily all of my showing gear has arrived early. i am wearing a green tweed jacket, white shirt, navy and gold tie, navy hat with beige straps, canary jods and black jod boots. is this okay?
also my mare who is a welsh sec b is quite patchy with her winter coat coming out. could we full clip her?she is a lovely grey but she looks a lot cleaner and her coat is a better colour when clipped. any tips would be great. thanks !!!

Don't clip a native this late, it's against the rules to clip in the spring

Do not clip! Fresh clipping in spring will be penalised.
Trousers for in hand rather than jods

Agree above re clipping!!
If your pony is grey, navy trousers would look good. White shirt against a tweed jacket can sometimes be a bit bright...could you pop the shirt through a wash with a new yellow duster to give it a more creamy appearance?

Thank you everyone. Do you know what I could do to improve her coat as she has a patch or two missing due to the other horses grooming. X

Unfortunately as you only have a week the best you can do is groom like there is no tommorow and rug her up to lay the coat.

If you had a month feeding linseed oil in large quantities would be helpful.

Yeah unfortunately it was a bit of a shock the show date. I'll just have I see how much grooming works I suppose xx

The wee black Lincoln grooming blocks are great for getting coat out.
