HELP .... SNP vital minerals and vitamins smells odd

Hi, I have a tub of SNP Horse & Pony Multi-vitamin Supplement from horsesupplementsdirect but am concerned as it smells like paint / plaster! Has anyone else ever used this and does that smell sound normal to you?
