Help solve a dimbo problem...hot towelling with no electric!

I really need to give my boy a clean down, and obviously given the weather it's not practical to give him a full bath so I would like to give him a hot towelling session. However...where we keep him and his friend there is no electric, I have a generator but it's too small to power a kettle.

How can I take a substantial quantity of hot water down to the field and keep the excess warm whilst I work?

As big a container as you can get, fit inside a feedsack, stuff gap between container and feedsack with straw, fill container with very hot water and it will keep warm for a surprisingly long time.

I think you can get kettles you can run off the car try a camping shop.

Or one of those cheapy gas camping stoves and kettle? I'd probably use a large flask or 2 though

Camping stove ... massive thermos from ASDA!

3 or 4 thermos flasks.....

The camping stoves are only about £15. Saucepan and hot water for towelling and coffee and soup and hot chocolate.........
