I want some for Daughter for Christmas, but local saddler does not stock, next saddler not got her size and won't have before Christmas, and when I look on-line...

Derby House - £95 5-10 days
The Saddlery Shop - £119.99 in stock
Frogpool £154.99!!! Didn't even check their stock level

So, do I risk an order with DH..., or do I bite the bullet and get them from TSS...?

I think I know the answer, unless anyone knows of another supplier at a reasonable price?

Hot choccies and Ferro Roches for all

Ta for your replies folks

I have the black ended ones (no blue on them). Not sure which are the best/safest for Daughter - she's 5'7" and about seven stone wet through

. She'll be using them to ride a couple of hours most days, as well as competing sj, dressage and x-country, and Pony Club stuff

.

I looooooooooooooooooooooooove mine! No more achey ankles

.

Size. Um. She wears size six/seven boots, so I'm guessing the widest ones? I can't go and measure mine (we have the same size feet), as she's following me round like a bad smell at the moment

Derby house have them with 20% this weekend off i ordered mine the other weekend and they came within days i also ordered when 20% offer was on and they were about £85 pluse free postage and packing

Bargain!!

I've got the flexible off set eye ones, not the Bow Balance. I think they're worth the extra.

I really really like them, they're always in the right place, waiting for me when I mount or lose a stirrup

I bought from this eBay seller a couple of weeks ago. She's brilliant! Very helpful and quick delivery -
Sprenger Stirrup Irons
She carries the various sizes too.

That's the one I mentioned - very helpful and she carries some really nice stuff as well as the Sprenger. I treated my horse to one of the sheepskin girths recently.

Oooops sorry! I didn't mean to link to the same eBay seller. Didn't realise

But that said, I too was pleased in my dealings with this seller. I needed some advice and she was really helpful. I bought the Bow Balance stirrups and cheese grater treads. Very good.
