I want to order a stock saddle, but am not sure what size would be best (for my backside). I usually use a 17inch GP saddle, would this be a 17inch stock saddle or would I need a smaller size?

Thanks

I always found stock saddles came up small, but I have long thighs so with the front block/pommels (don't know what you call them) I needed a larger seat than my other saddles. Will also depend on if you are going for the Australian or US stock saddle. My old boss's US stock felt a lot more roomy

Stock saddles are measured differently to English and are straight front to back. Depending on what make you are looking at I had a 17" norton one which was huge, more like an 18" English. In bates and winter due to the pokey shape I like a medium which is more like a 17.5" saddle

It is a Norton one, so I should maybe go for the 16 inch. Thanks
