I booked the Somerford Farm Ride for our yard outing this weekend, just called to book a couple of extras in and check it still the summer ride to find out its actually closed this weekend due to the BE event!

The lad that took my booking did'nt take my number and should have informed me then it was closed! Aggghhh

So suggestions please, range of non jumpers who want to take it slow to a couple that want to have a go at popping a couple of fences and 3 of us who want to jump lots!

We are on the Fylde coast so its quite a distanced to Somerford at it is (140 mile round trip)

So I know there is Kelsall, but anywhere else? Have to book something else quick or we will be 8 very disappointed riders

It is bonny there & lots of new umps have been put in.

I do know that the local hunt are having their breakfast meet there, so they willbe blasting around it on Sat am!

Yes I've been and I have also been to Somerford.
Craven would be ride of choice as it means I don't have to go on the motorway and there is a good variety of obstacles.

Craven counrty ride is only open so many times a year so its packed all the time but it is good. There is small wood livery centre, Willow park, marbury farm ride, cheshire view farm ride, The geegee centre in yorkshire, daresbury but that has limited open days too.

I'm pretty sure it isn't and is open all year round.! They just advertise more often for their 'special' days! Worth a phone call if nothing else.
