really need some advice as i thing ive stuffed up again.
a year ago i bought a horse who was my dream and 6mths in he went lame due to a kick, i broke my ankle and then he got another kick so spent the first 6 months off work, once we were both fit i thought great but no he went lame with suspensory ligament problems both hind legs and had a op 3 months ago but not doing great. this horse passed a full 5 stage vetting and is a mess bless him with not much hope of him ever being sound.
a few weeks ago we bought another horse this time unvetted after the last problems and i noticed the other day he is rotating his hind leg kind of like a swivel motion in trot and this is now freaking me out.
he is naturally very close behind and always had a full set of shoes but my farrier told me not to put backs on as he was really unbalanced and not much to put a shoe on.
he is now brushing behind and has this swivel action.
we are getting physio out and farrier back out to put shoes on and see if this helps but its blowing my mind that i might have another huge vet bill coming my way.
i know a lot of horses have this action in walk but never seen in in trot and also he cant arrange his legs after a jump. its kind of like he cant work from
