Does any of you love making short vids or taking pictures which include your own neddies for models?

...oh and helping people out?

Could anybody give me a step by step guide (with pics) from scratch on how to fit a Pessoa training aid (or cheaper version) think most are made the same way though.

I bought a new one, complete with a handy little bag and instructions...great! I hear you say, but the instructions are in flipping German!..

...or at least I think, certainly not in a language I understand thats for sure and I took French at school so I can't even revert back to my books lol.

I have not attempted to take it out of the bag yet and unravel it all, it looks like spaghetti junction. Not only that but I doubt my horse will ever forgive me if I make him stand there for 3 hours draping various ropes and pulley systems all over his body....I might not get him out of it!

If anyone would be so kind enough to do this I'd be forever grateful, your welcome to PM if you'd prefer.

Or unless anyone is super brilliant at explaining without pics, that would be great also.

Appologies if this is in the wrong section, thought it might get more views here.

love my pessoa n when i first saw it, i thought'AGGGHHHH if i get this working then i need an automatic acceptance into mensa!!!! i had someone who had been using for a while show me how to use it!! which really was invaluable as it can sooo easily be mis-interpreted(sp)(through pics and vids even) Would be better IMO (as you have invested in a gr8 peice of kit) if you could have a lesson off someone, and have it correctly fitted, 'and'you be there hands on!! they are gr8 but can soo easily be used wrong and cause more harm than good<<

Totally agree with you on that one Pinktiger...only thing is I don't think anyone on our yard has got one (bummer!) well there is one person but she's not down very often but I'll see if she can 'show me the ropes' (sorry ...that was bad wasn't it!) but even when hers is set up, I've noticed its quite complex in keeping it in order ready to place on the horse ...its hung up in the tack room in a very special way...anyone touches it and there dead! he heee.

Another question, my circingle is pretty much a all singing all dancing one but do they need a ring underneath because she borrowed a flash strap of me for something underneith...not sure what because I never took any notice at the time.

Could practice on the OH tonight though

They are easier than you think if you are just brave enough to get it out of the bag! Try practicing on a gate using the hinge end as the "head". You need a rind on the sercingle under the belly to attach the lines to after they go through the bit if you want to work your horse long and low. I always start in this possition to warm up. hope this of some use.

Thank you everyone, yes I braved it and had a bash putting it on him last night (seen as it was pooring it down!) and yes your right its quite simple once you lay it out on the ground...that birds eye view on the video was a great help actually.

He just stood there as good as gold...giving me very odd looks!, didnt get chance to actually lunge him but setting it all up was a start.

Thanks guys.
