HI . not a pleasant post but i'm sure as dog owners we have all come across this problem at some time , border collie had a tummy upset last night on cream bedroom carpet, was everywhere !, have vaxed carpet for an hour this morning but still can see slight stains , i really went to town with the vax and have had dogs for 30 years so quite accustomed to the odd disaster but this has me beat , still wiffs abit too , am thinking off getting vinyl instead but just wondered if anyone else had a more cost effective suggestion , apart from shutting dogs in kitchen at night, hubby works away so i like them with me at night .

Oh dear... try washing powder sprinkled on, then scrubbed with warm water and a scrubbing brush, blot as much moisture as you can out then leave it to dry naturally before hoovering again.

Lol, my OH layed in bed retching and choking on the smell while i worked my way through 2 kitchen rolls at 2 in the morning , he said the dogs are'nt sleeping in bedroom anymore Ha ! like that's going to happen , he's away agsin in morning , not Rebel's fault he had a poorly tummy !

Sorry, can't really add any more suggestions, BUT, I have to agree with your OH. I personally don't do dogs in bedrooms cos of carpets for one, hairs for another. I'd close them in the kitchen on vinyl floor - easy to clean up 'pet' mess then.
(ps - I would have thrown up, upset doggy tummy does my tummy in!)
